Prefer technical hard enduro to dodging trees at speed? Well, if it's the extreme stuff that gets you going, then our EC 300 is definitely for you! Designed from the wheels up to take on the gnarliest terrain, this ultra-modern enduro steed is light, powerful, and makes easy work of everything in its path. With tons of torque down low, and supple, easy-to-adjust WP suspension, those long, grueling days on the bike are made much more enjoyable aboard the EC 300. With black rims, a black handlebar, and a fresh new look, it's ready for anything.
Graphics
Black graphic details bring a bold twist to the signature GASGAS red, with a clean white logo that pops right off the dark background. Other blacked-out parts like the seat cover, handlebar, and rims dial up the style to really set things off. Thanks to durable IML technology, the graphics are built into the bodywork to keep your GASGAS looking sharp, ride after ride.
Bodywork
Proudly red, with sharp black details! Incredibly ergonomic with large contact surfaces to help you grip the bike with your legs, the smooth profile bodywork encourages riders to effortlessly move around on the bike and ride with a perfect technique. There's also 0 super grippy seat cover, now in black, to keep you sat exactly where you need to be when you get on the gas!
Handlebars
Neken handlebars are now black and clamped into redesigned bar mounts (which are more resistant to twisting if you should hit the deck), with lock-on style, medium compound ODI grips fitted to create a comfy set-up to suit most riders. A new black and red bar pad adds style and safety.
Airbox
Less time working on bikes means more time riding bikes, which is precisely why you'll love the straightforward, no tools and no-nonsense filter mounting system. With a stronger one-piece design for the air intake, maximum airflow is guaranteed, and you know what that means... maximum power! Like before, accessing the air filter to inspect or replace it couldn't be easier. Simply pop the left side panel off and you'll be inside the airbox in no time.
Frame
The current frame hits the sweet spot between razor-sharp handling and just the right amount of flex. Lightweight motor mounts dial in the feel without messing with straight-line stability, and smart material tweaks, like a slimmed-down upper shock mount and reduced wall thickness up front, save 300g. Developed with the GASGAS Factory Racing crew, it's a setup that stays planted and lets you push harder in every turn with a big smile in your face.
Subframe
The all-aluminium subframe is light, strong, and works as one with the mainframe by helping to centralizing mass and contributing massively to the bike's outstanding handling characteristics.
Triple Clamps
Forged aluminum triple clamps offer just the right amount of calculated flex thanks to a more forgiving steering stem. The triple clamps align the fork tubes perfectly for a smooth action, which improves front wheel feedback and leads to predictable handling on any track and any terrain. The adjustable bar mounts with the slightly larger contact area against the handlebars reduce the chance of the bars twisting. A glass bead blasted finish means the triple clamps always look as good as new.
WP Forks
Up front, WP XPLOR Open Cartridge forks take care of soaking up the bumps with ease. With model-specific internal settings and a split piston design, they deliver consistent damping and a smooth ride across all terrains. Compression is adjusted on the left fork leg, while rebound is dialed in on the right both easily adjustable by hand. This setup ensures riders of all levels can fine-tune their suspension quickly and confidently.
Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI)
Throttle Body Injection (TBI) makes the EC 300 an absolute dream to ride! While you're out on the trails, the ECU continuously analyzes air and water temperature, crankcase pressure, RPM, and throttle position to deliver the perfect mix of fuel and air. The result? Clean, strong power exactly when you need it. And with a protective cap now shielding the fuel connector, you can ride worry-free through mud, dust, and whatever else the terrain throws at you.
Cylinder & Piston
One thing you won't find on the EC 300 is an old school powervalve! As the bike's fuelled using Throttle Body Injection (TBI), an electronic exhaust control system is used instead, and it works by opening the lateral exhaust ports before the main exhaust port opens. What does this mean? Well, it creates a smooth, strong, and very rideable power delivery that all enduro riders will love out on the trails.
Transmission
A wide ratio, 6-speed, enduro-specific transmission lets you attack the terrain and every obstacle with confidence. It's also smooth shifting and super durable, with every gear change positive in all conditions, thanks in part to the gear lever that's designed to prevent mud from building up around it.
Crankshaft
Engineered to be just the right weight to create a lively response from the motor without sacrificing torque, the EC 300 crankshaft is perfectly balanced. This means less vibration from the motor. which is reduced even further thanks to the counter balancer shaft. The end result is less fatigue and therefore, more comfort, allowing you to ride for longer! Just what you want when it comes to enduro.
Brakes
Fast is fun but quite often in enduro, you'll need to slow down in a real hurry! This is precisely why all GASGAS enduro bikes are fitted with the latest high quality BRAKTEC brake calipers and controls. With a 260mm disk up front and a 220mm disk at the rear, braking performance is seriously impressive, which inspires riders to push harder, ride faster, and brake later.
Hydraulic Clutch
When riding enduro, you know full well that you'll need consistent clutch performance, especially when working your way through the toughest of technical sections. So, it's for this very reason that all GASGAS enduro bikes are fitted with a quality BRAKTEC hydraulic clutch system. In addition to the lever being extremely light to pull in, which reduces fatigue, the free play of the system is also self-adjusting. This means the biting point from the moment you fire your GASGAS into life remains the same all day. Every day.
Radiators
A cool-running motor is a happy motor! That's why our GASGAS Enduro bikes feature a compact, efficient cooling system with aluminum radiators mounted close to the center of gravity for agile handling. The integrated design eliminates unnecessary hoses and keeps things slim. And when the going gets slow and technical, the radiator fan kicks in to keep temperatures in check -so you can stay focused on the ride, not the heat.
Wheels
Built to take a beating, our wheels are ready to play rough. No matter how heavy the landing or how rough the track is, the black. CNC machined hubs, lightweight spokes, and high-strength rims deliver maximum strength for complete peace of mind.
Engine Management System (Ems)
All GASGAS EC 2-stroke models feature the most advanced Engine Management System (EMS) of any 2-stroke enduro bike out there, which means riders can fully focus on the trails ahead. The brain of the system is the Electronic Control Unit (ECU), which engages a different map for each gear to give the very best performance as well as a Rollover Sensor which stops the motor in the event of a heavy fall. Put simply, by controlling the ignition timing and the amount of fuel injected, using sensor data such as intake air pressure, throttle position, and coolant temperature, the EMS takes care of everything related to fuel, air, and oil.
Led Light
By using LEDs to light the way, the headlight is almost three times brighter than a traditional bulb and is particularly effective when you're deep into dense woodland. And should either the mask or headlight get damaged, the two-piece design lets you replace only what's broken.
Map Select Switch
Sometimes in enduro, you'll want a different style of power delivery depending on the terrain or situation. This is where our redesigned Map Select Switch, which is available from your local GASGAS dealer, steps in. Easy to fit and offering two maps. Map 1 is super mellow and perfect for slow, technical sections. But when it comes to deep mud and softer track conditions where you need direct response, engage Map 2 and thank us later!
Throttle Body
Instant response, every time you twist the throttle! Our EC 300 uses a 39mm Keihin throttle body with injectors positioned for maximum efficiency. Thanks to direct cable mounting no linkage needed - throttle feel is super crisp and precise. A robust TPS sensor and ball-bearing-supported throttle volve reduce friction. making operation smoother than ever. It's all about delivering clean, strong power in every gear, no matter the terrain.
